VERY FAIRY LATE READS - THE HERO'S GUIDE TO SAVING YOUR KINGDOM (The League of Princes #1) by Christopher Healy, Todd Harris (Illustrations): A Rock Chick Fairy book review

Hello y'all! Rock Chick Fairy here! I have a really different book this time! It's a middle grade book which I'm sure everyone will like one way or another.

I bought this book at a very low price (less than $1 - HARDBOUND! hah! BEAT THAT!). I can't believe just how good it is! This book was a steal for me! ^______^

Everyone, I give ya... THE HERO'S GUIDE TO SAVING YOUR KINGDOM!!!

AWESOME, AWESOME BOOK!!!

This book will make you laugh hard and appreciate the princes' efforts!

I read middle grade books to feel happy and I believe that's what I go with this book!

The plot is mind blowing! It has all the needed factors of a fairy tale... Princesses? Check! Witches? Check! Dwarfs? Check! Trolls? Check! Goblins? Check! Giants? Check! Imps? Check! Princes? Well... Imagine an alternate universe wherein the princes of fairy tales aren't really all dashing, smart and strong. Wouldn't that be better? It's attainable! haha!

This surely clears up many things about how princes in fairy tales feel! What happens after the tale? :)

The princes here are unlikely. They all have their faults, but please don't dwell on that. They also have their good traits just like normal people. Say for example, Fredrick who we know as Cinderella's Prince Charming... He is indeed charming, but in this book, he was raised as a very gentle, non-violent person. It's totally understandable that he came out as a wimp in this book. Still, I liked his character because he seems to be ready for changes. That's just one hero! There are three other guys who will make you fall off your seat, not with their dashingness, but with their great contrast to their Disney counterparts.

The princesses? Well... Let's just say you won't be loving ALL of them now! Haha! Gosh, just thinking about them makes me laugh again. It's just all so bizarre. I like Ella, that's for sure!

What I like most about this book is how it was written for the readers. I felt as if I was watching a movie! Something like Ella Enchanted. I like the narration and the humor of the narrator. I enjoyed that immensely.

I'm so looking forward to the next book! And yes, I AM OPEN TO CROSSOVERS, if you know what I mean. Hah! You don't, don't you? THERE'S YOUR REASON TO READ IT! Do it now!

5 solid fairy wings!
