This is a lovely conclusion to a hot and steamy romance series by Ms. Emma Hart! Ohhhhh I love, love Brits!
Tyler and Liv's story continues. They have now defined who they are to each other and embarked in a relationship that they don't want to call a "relationship" (most especially, Liv), but is really a relationship (most especially to Tyler). Of course, as addicts they're still trying to grope their way through their new endeavor. Drama and conflicts made the story interesting, and the presence of Tyler's parents and sister added more spice in the story. Of course, Aaron and Dayton's impending wedding heightened the spectacle. So if you've missed them from the Call series, don't worry because they are constantly in the scene.
What I love about this story is that Tyler never gives up. Mr. Tall, Dark, Handsome and Oh So British knows what he wants. He's relentless and determined to get it. No matter how may times Liv had run, and display inconsistencies in her attitude, he always runs after her to come and get her and make her see some sense. Not to mention that he's one of the hottest British book boyfriend in the world of fiction, his dirty mouth and steamy antics inside the bedroom (and out of it) will surely put the sheets on fire. He is one dreamy hero, and his Brit-speak is guaranteed to make you swoon.
I love Liv! Her feistiness makes me smile. Her blunt ways delight me. Her internal monologues and her talks with Angus her cat made me laugh hard. She talks too much, speaks her mind, and is sassy. Her flaws make her perfect a heroine. She's damaged and her pain prevents her to have her happy ending. Sometimes I get so frustrated with her hot and cold behavior. I do understand that's she's scared, but I just want her to have the "happily ever after" ending.
In the end, everything worked out fine and I'm one happy reader.
I had fun reading this series! The flirty banters between Tyler and Liv made me giggle so many times. They are so refreshing to read, amusing and never boring. Add to that those passionate sex scenes... THIS BOOK IS A DEFINITE MANNA for smut readers. Pick up this book, I'm sure you'll love Tyler and Liv and their battle of wills and word vomit foreplays and extreme sexual challenges with each other.
This is the first series that I've read by Emma Hart and I'm totally satisfied. I'm reading the Call Series next. Thank you for allowing me read an advance copy and for letting me have a taste of your witty writings. Another fan from the Philippines is added to your ever growing followers! <3 <3 <3
