♠ ASSASSIN'S APPRENTICE (Farseer Trilogy #1): A Warrior Fairy book review

In a faraway land where members of the royal family are named for the virtues they embody, one young boy will become a walking enigma.

Born on the wrong side of the sheets, Fitz, son of Chivalry Farseer, is a royal bastard, cast out into the world, friendless and lonely. Only his magical link with animals - the old art known as the Wit - gives him solace and companionship. But the Wit, if used too often, is a perilous magic, and one abhorred by the nobility.

So when Fitz is finally adopted into the royal household, he must give up his old ways and embrace a new life of weaponry, scribing, courtly manners; and how to kill a man secretly, as he trains to become a royal assassin.

Rating: 4 out of 5

Hello everyone! This is the Warrior Fairy here and this is going to be my first review. My books and are going to be a little (or waaay) different from the other fairies' genres, but that's what's great about having a group blog. There's a lot of variety! I hope you guys won't neglect me and that I won't get lost in a sea of romance on this blog, lol.

As a self-proclaimed fantasy fan, I am slowly going through those famous works that every fantasy fan must read. The Farseer trilogy is of course, one of those.

ღ SECRETS IN BLOOD (In Blood #1) by Patricia D. Eddy: A Fire Fairy book review

I learned a lot of Italian phrases and words from this book, including the dirty ones, lol! I love Eve's cover model and she matches her character.I so looove this book! The storyline was great and it's not your typical vampire story.

✼THE DARKEST MINDS by Alexandra Bracken" A Haul Fairy book review

Warning: The book I am about to review may contain spoilers (just a little bit) and also, this  not suitable for those who hate cliff hangers.

Once again I was pulled by the hype surrounding this book to pick this up. I’m that gullible. And I love dystopia; I am huge fan of books that have a plot of totalitarian form of government, repressive social control systems, disease- spreading-apocalyptic world and brutality for survival.

Darkest minds is about a mysterious disease that killed most of the American’s children. The ones who survived have abilities, some are harmful, some are deadly and some are wicked. These “sick” kids are confined to a “rehab center” where they wait for the cure of their diseases. They are tagged as Green, Yellow, Orange and Red; it depends on the ability of these kids. Greens and Yellows are left to the camp and the Orange and Red are sent of different camp or killed. Ruby, our main character, was waiting to drop dead or to be taken away. When she woke up on her tenth birthday, she knew that something was wrong. She was sent to the rehab camp because of something she did to her parents. When Ruby turned to sixteen, that’s where her adventure began. She was given a chance to escape the camp and she took it. He met a group of children with abilities and this group is searching for a safe haven. One of the members of this group is Liam, Ruby’s love interest. Along the road, they faced survival, dodging the authorities, escaping bounty hunters and testing their friendship, love and loyalty.

♥♥ My January to Mid - February book hauls by the Haul Fairy

Hello guys! I'm Haul Fairy and this is my first collective book haul from January to mid February, I’m not sure  which one I bought on Jan or Feb, that's why i put it in a one big collective book haul.

I have a pretty amazing book haul and I’m excited to show you guys,so Lets begin!

1. This is one of my favorite urban fantasy series, The Iron Druid Chronicles, Hounded, Hexed, Hammered, Tricked, Trapped (in chronological order), This is about Atticus O’Sullivan the last of the Druids in Earth, he looked 21 years old but he is actually  more than two thousand years old, what?!! (yeah, doesn't matter,  he's hot though). The series is about his adventure with lots gods (Norse, Celtic, Roman , Greek, even Navajo), How he killed them, his bad ass attitude, His dog Oberon that can talk only in his mind,  which is very funny ( i think Oberon is one of the one reason why this series freaking rocks!), having an apprentice and falling inlove with her, having freaky sex scene with a Goddess.

I really love this series! That's why I pre ordered them in Fully Booked, i waited for 6-8 weeks for these. It's about 300.00 - 350.00 php/piece

Grant is desperate to redeem himself in Harlow’s eyes, but did he ruin his chances before he even met her?

My R E V I E W:

Omg!! I love this book!

I stayed up all night reading, finished in 4 hours, devoured every word in every page. That's how much I love Abbi's writing. I practically dropped the book I was reading yesterday so I could read this first. I love that she always has a surprise for her readers. I am actually bracing myself that someone will die in this novel and mentally preparing myself for that ugly cry that will happen. I love that every twist and turn in her books make me gasp and hold my breath. Her characters are so compelling, engaging and endearing that you can't help but fall hard for them.

❤ WORTH THE CHANCE (MMA Fighter #2) by Vi Keeland : A Rock Chick Fairy book review

Oh! MMA FIGHTERS.... Why are you all so hot?

18461788
Hi y'all! Rock Chick Fairy here. I'll let you in on a secret. I can honestly say that I have never, in my entire life, watched an MMA fight. Sure, my friends tell me to do so, but it just isn't at the top of my things-I-want-to-experience-ASAP list. However, this year, I started reading about these hot men mostly with quick temper, but good to the core. MMA fighters sure bring my reading life one step higher. So yeah, maybe I'll give it a shot and watch someday.

Enough about the introductions...

Let's get on with the review!

✼ CRESS (The Lunar Chronicles #3) by Marissa Meyer: A Midnight Fairy book review

Hi everyone, this is Midnight Fairy reporting! Cress is finally here and yours truly couldn't keep her hands off the book! Being a night fairy, the Lunar Chronicles hold a special place in my heart plus the fact that Rapunzel is my favorite fairytale made Cress as one of my highly anticipated novels of 2014. I thank the stars and all the heavenly bodies in the universe for not disappointing me. Cress is such a wonderful read!

❤ KALEIDOSCOPE (Colorado Mountain #6) by Kristen Ashley: A Rock Chick Fairy book review

Hello one and all! I am the Rock Chick Fairy and this is my very first post. If there’s an author whom I would trust with all my heart to give me an exciting, fulfilling and worthwhile time, it would be Miss Kristen Ashley. This is also why I chose this name, which I hope she wouldn’t mind.

The Colorado Mountain Series has been very close to my heart for about 3 years now. I love the people in this series. To me, they are all friends who badly need their stories to be told. I love them and I followed their journey heartily. After reading the fourth book “BREATHE”, I have wanted to read Deck’s story. He’s just a mystery to me. Now I know that it’s worth the wait.

Here are my thoughts about the book. Mind you, it could sound overly enthusiastic. ;)

✿❋ A VERY FAIRY WELCOME TO ONE AND ALL! ❋✿
