The band, Sinners is the hottest thing in the rock metal music industry where Sedric “Sed” Lionheart, (our male protagonist) is the leader and the vocalist. He has this personality that I don’t like. He’s a control freak! And Jessica, his love interest, the ex girlfriend who left Sed and broke his heart into a million pieces. Two years after their break up, they meet in the most inconvenient way... in a strip club, where Jessica works (awkward)! That is where the mayhem starts and the end of Sed’s harem.
I read the first book in the series Backstage Pass and totally love it, so I decided to pick up the second book immediately after I finished the first book. Like what happened Backstage Pass, I finished Rock Hard instantly. I liked the characters but not as much as the first book because Sed is a glutton for punishment when it comes to Jessica and it annoys me sometimes. They also fight a lot! Annoying!
Over all, I give this book 4 fairy wings. What I love in Ms. Cunning’s writing style is that she gives personality to the other characters like Trey, Eric and Jace. I love Jace! Also expect lots of sex in public, they have a penchant for exhibitionism.
