Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
If you want to find out more about Stacking The Shelves, please visit the official launch page!
This is my first post for Stacking the Shelves though I've been meaning to join this for a long time now. These are all the books I got for the past month - from Manila International Book Fair and all the other sales from National Bookstore and Powerbooks and even from the second-hand bookshops.
One Piece vol. 55 by Eiichiro Oda - I can't read Japanese but One Piece is my all-time favorite manga and I bought these at the half the original price and the quality of these are those of the brand new AND the cover is even better than the English volumes!
Looking for Alibrandi by Melina Marchetta - Another steal! I bought this together with A Million Pieces for 99php BOTH! Also, I love Marchetta's Lumatere series and it's rare to see a Marchetta title in the Philippines.
Hourglass by Claudia Gray - I've already read this series but I had to have the 3rd book because I have the print copies of books 1 and 2
Forgive Me, Leonard Peacock by Matthew Quick - Read this and it's just soooo heartbreaking. I'll be posting a review of this soon.
The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller - MY. BEST. BOOK. OF. 2015!
Dorothy Must Die Stories by Danielle Page - Buying this was a mistake! Literally. I thought this was the first book. I didn't notice that it was just a collection of novellas until I got home
Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Page - I went back to the bookstore to buy the real book 1
On Kindle
End of Days by Susan Ee - Hands down one of the best books of 2015 for me.
Crown Duel by Sherwood Smith - This contains books 1 and 2.
Borrowed
That's it for me for the whole month of September. Or for the whole year, probably. I'll be putting myself on a book buying ban, unless there's a 20-50% discount on it, lol.
And while you're here, don't forget to join all the giveaways on the blog! There are tons of them and you can see the links of the sidebar ---------->
So, what books did you get this week? Month? Post your link on the comments section so I can visit your shelves!
