SUMMARY
Two years will change them forever.
When rumors spread like wildfire—like having three-ways with her boyfriend’s rock climbing brother—Lily Calloway spirals into a dark place. Her bedroom. Loren Hale is more confident and determined to keep their sex life private, even from their friends, and he helps Lily in the only way he knows how. But how much love is too much?
Their lives are filmed, watched, and criticized. And through it all, Lily and Loren have to face enemies they never thought they’d see, demons they don’t know if they should bury, and setbacks they didn’t think they’d meet. Not this soon.
And one rumor could be too much for them to handle. It will test their greatest limitations, and if they don’t hold onto each other, someone is going to drown.
A full-length New Adult Romance that bridges the gap between the second and third books. Thrive must be read before Addicted After All if you have not read the Calloway Sisters spin-off
The first time I read this, I kept on staring at space. For the life of me, I can't write my review. I felt I have been put in a bubble that nothing exist but LiLo, Coballoway and Raisy. This was probably my biggest book hangover, I can't get past it and it took me almost 2 weeks before i can concentrate again on another book.
Over a month since this book has been released, I decided to read it again with the hope that I would be able to write my review afterwards. Well, it took me two days after my reread before I can sit and write this.
This is probably KB's best work yet. Why? I'll enumerate why. And these things are also the reasons why I love this book so much.
♥ Two years of pure LiLo awesomeness and goodness
Yes, the book spans more than two years. It picks up after Addicted for Now and ends during the time Hothouse Flower ends. This seems a daunting task. How can you fit all that in a book? What to write and what not to write? This is where the twins' talent comes. They sure know what will interest their readers and what won't and they made it work. It left me craving for more. There's no hanging feeling at the end of the book. All issues are answered and given attention. After reading this, it's like I just had a season marathon of my favorite TV show. It's that good!
♥ Scenes from KTS and HF in LiLo's POV
The twins are upfront that some of the scenes in this book happened in KTS (Kiss the Sky) and HF (Hothouse Flower). To me, even though those scenes are familiar, they look fresh and real in my eyes. It was as if I was reading those scenes for the first time. There a lot of books out there that were written again but with different POV's and when you read it, it's like you're reading the whole scene again. Not in this book! I assure you, you'll enjoy reading them again and again. Since it's in Lilo's POV, the flavor is all LiLo. You will definitely feel that it's LiLo talking and not Coballoway or Raisy.
Even though, there are some scenes from KTS and HF, this book is 80% new material, so don't be scared that all you're going to read are reenactments of some scenes. NOT!!!
♥ Characters and Relationships Growth
Ahhh, the bromances and other pairings! I love love the relationships in this series! The best ever, I tell you! The Addicted Series begun with LiLo, but since other characters were incorporated in the story, the series is now about six friends and three couples with some pairings like RoRy (Rose and Ryke) and LoCo (Loren and Connor). The start of each relationships were rocky and have some trust issues especially with Lo and Ryke and Lo and Connor. In here, you can see their development and progress. From insults and sarcasms, they are now replaced with easy banters and deep feelings.
Character development for Lo and Lily is also transparent in this book. What I love is how they overcame their problem regarding their addictions and how it interferes with their sex life. They were able to come to a solution that will enable them both to enjoy their time together without the restrictions of some rules. Lily is shy when it comes to talking about sex. Along the way, she gained enough confidence to talk about it, though she still blushes.
♥ LILO's heart and soul
LiLo, LiLo, LiLo!!!!!!! I can keep on shouting my OTP and STAN and I'll never get tired of it! More adorableness, exquisiteness and loveliness are present in this book. I can't help but laugh and smile at their geekiness. All those movie and TV references and pop cultures. Lily is just so damn adorable! I really love KB for creating her character. She's so refreshing, unassuming and so real. This is truly an awesome book!
♥ Poppy and Sam
Yes, we get more of Poppy in this book. Not only her, but her pretty hot husband as well. I fell in love with Poppy and her maternal instinct. She's one Calloway that's easy to love. We're able to see that there's something going on between Lo and Sam that was caused by something when they were just teenagers. If you read KB's deleted scene during the time when LiLo are just thirteen yrs old, you'll know why. Their presence makes me want a novella of their own. I hope KB will relent to this. I think there's a story there that needs to be told.
This book is beyond amazing. I truly enjoyed reading every pages, I can't devour the words enough. It's like I have not eaten for a week and now I was served with all this deliciousness. This book is another masterpiece by KB and it deserves a stand of its own in the center of a gallery.
I want to take this opportunity to thank Krista and Becca for the sweet acknowledgement at the end of the book. It feels surreal sincerely for a humble fan like me to see my name in a literary work much less a favorite one. Love you so much Krista and Becca!!! I'll be always here for you if you need me and even if you don't need me I'll always be by your side and will be your biggest fan aside from Jenn of course!
It breaks my heart that the next book Addicted After All is the last LiLo book. I think I'll be in denial forever. I want to read it and I don't want to read it. I want it to be released and yet I wish it's still months or years before its release date. It's the book I don't want to finish reading. Right now I don't want to think about it, I don't like to think that it exist and several weeks from now it's gonna be released. No no nooooooo I don't want it to eeeeeeendddddd!!! OMG I'll be ugly crying when it ends! I may need therapy and will happily send KB my bills *channeling my inner Rose-drama-queen

MY REVIEW
The perseverance to do anything, to be anything. To thrive.
Someday, that word will belong to us too. After years of coming up short, it’s all I’ve ever wanted. - Loren Hale

“Or you can just sit on my lap, darling,”
“I’m not afraid of Rose, but thanks for the concern, darling.” He winks.
I touch my heart. “Anytime, love.”
I’m more at peace with him now than I have been in years. It took blood and a hot desert, but we reached this place.

“I just want to add,” I say to Connor and my sister, “that I don’t understand some of the things you say in English. That is all.”
“It apparated into our room.”
His eyebrows knot. “What?” He turns to Lo. “Is she even speaking English.”
Lo wipes his mouth with a napkin, still focused on his food. “It’s a Harry Potter term.”
Batman and Catwoman are flirt-fighting.
The fangirl inside of me is singing right now

Krista Ritchie has a clone...or someone who looks exactly like her. If she's not writing books with her twin sister, she's pouring over entertainment news and ingesting copious amounts of pop culture. She likes tennis, that thing called the TV, and beating Becca (her clone) on Sega Genesis.
Krista & Becca Ritchie write New Adult books that make you cringe, gasp, and go ooh-la-la. (If you do that sort of thing.) They are currently working on the spin-offs and final books in the Addicted series. Connect with them on twitter and their website: www.kbritchie.com
Stalking extremely encouraged
Awwwww! I share the sentiment with AAA coming up; the last LiLo book (insert teary-eyed icon here). I know I'm going to bawl my eyes out when I'm done reading AAA. I feel like I've spent a lifetime with them!
