❤BACK2BACK❤ FIGHTING FOR FLIGHT and FIGHTING TO FORGIVE by J.B. SALSBURY flashback reviews by The Rock Chick Fairy

Hey there y'all! Rock Chick Fairy here! Today is the release day of FIGHTING TO FORGET. In line with this, I wanted to show just how wonderful the first two books are in this series. Y'all should try to read these if you still haven't! :)

Please let me introduce / refresh your memory about the FIGHTING SERIES by J.B. SALSBURY.

FIGHTING FOR FLIGHT

This is a story that will make you feel good, disgusted, awed, angry, happy, grumpy, kickass, irritated ...and satisfied.

I must admit, this story made me feel worried since I thought that it tackles the issue of prostitution and that alone. It's totally not just about it. It's about cars, fights, mechanics, fighters, family, friends and enemies. I love how the plot unfolded in an artful way. I love that the two characters got together right away, I don't care how fast. I think they needed to be together quickly in order to face the hardships. When they're together, I can't help but say "awwwww" because they were just so sweet. :)

The complication of course, is a big one. I like it that the heroine was very honest with he hero from the start. It also helped that it wasn't blown out of proportions. I also love the fact that the hero stood with her from start to finish. It was all about having her and saving her. Their friends were all so hilarious too that it made the novel better.

The ending was.. damn good. Everyone got what they ultimately deserved.

I'm so happy for both of them. I'm still skeptic about the mom... I mean, I don't understand how she can ignore her daughter and then flip over and then be a good mom. hmpf. not so believable if you ask me. Aside from that, it was all good.

 I liked this. :)

FIGHTING TO FORGIVE

HOW DO YOU KNOW WHEN A BOOK IS GOOD?

As for me... I know it when I stay up until 3 in the mprning just to finish the book. When I just want to get to the bottom of it all and read the happy ending. This happened in this book and I'm so happy.

This book is a good follow up to the first one. They are unique and they are both worth the time and effort. Blake and Layla deserve to have their stories told. Their individual stories, actually, are already pretty intriguing, so when you combine both, you get a WOW book.

Fighting to Forgive is a good mixture of romance, fighting, drama, issues and laughter. The author managed to convey each character's strengths and weaknesses. I love both Blake and Layla because they indeed "fought" for their happy ending. :)

The story line is full of surprises.I was never bored while reading this. The characters are superb ... and umm.. HOT. haha! Even though they both made some weird and stupid choices along the way, they both managed to bounce back and not let their fears tangle with their relationship.

To tell you honestly, I already knew Blake's secret with full conviction at the start of the book. Still, it was pretty neat. I love his secret. haha!

I love love love the ending so much! ♥♥♥ I am a big fan of Bon Jovi and old rock because my dad was also a big fan, so I guess I was bound to like this too. ;)
