Caitlyn Michaud spent one intense and passionate year falling in love with her

Isn’t the guy she needs…
Determined to move on, in college Caitlyn has risen above her small town impoverished roots and has joined a sorority, reinvented her appearance, and landed the right boyfriend. Pre-law major and frat president, Ethan, is thoughtful and always laughing, and he makes her feel happy, calm. He also gives her the social acceptance she craves.
But the perfect world she tried so hard to attain is ripped apart when Heath
appears one night out of nowhere. Caitlyn remembers all the reasons why she
loves him, even if they don’t make sense to anyone but her. Out of the
military, Heath is as brooding and intense as ever, and he is determined not
only to win her back, but to exact revenge on everyone who kept him from her…
And when one love allows her to breathe, but the other feels as essential to her life as air, how does she choose between them?

A review copy was provided to me in exchange for an honest review.
This book is about a girl
with a difficult childhood who fell in love with one of her foster brothers. However, he left
her without even saying goodbye. This is also about having a second chance and her struggle in choosing and keeping up with the one she chose.
Her family has taken up lots of foster kids for checks. Her mother is mentally unstable, her father is disabled and she has an alcoholic brother. Her first love is Heath, an older foster brother; she
lost her virginity to him, loved him, her best friend and one day, poof, gone.
He left her without saying goodbye; they said he’s out of the system.
Fast forward... She’s studying in UMaine, a part of sorority and gotten engaged to Ethan in homecoming. Ethan is handsome, well off and comes to a good family... because of this, she said yes to him. Suddenly, Heath shows up with a girl and that stirs the moment.

The whole book is one hell of
an emotional roller coaster ride. It’s exhausting diving into Caitlin’s POV. I wish it had dual POV instead, so I wouldn't have to read constantly about how annoying Caitlin
and her feelings for Heath and for Ethan is. There are lots of insecurities
from Ethan, Caitlyn and Heath. It drove me insane. Trust issues and jealousy are the biggest reasons that I lost my enthusiasm for this book. This is why I just scanned the last few
chapters... because I lost interest and I wanted to finish this immediately.
Rating : 2.5 fairy wings because I did like the first
few chapters. I recommend this for readers who want to be emotionally tortured.
Wow this sounds amazing! And the cover is gorgeous by the way! I am really loving it! I can't wait to check this out. Great review, dear!
