A few years ago I was diagnosed with Cancer. Just as I was recovering from the radiation treatments, my Mom had a reoccurrence of her Cancer. She didn't make it but I was able to care for her in her last few weeks. I think this book is a powerful reminder that illness affects the family too (especially kids).
